From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome- gentleman who helped us check in was so so lovely (we were very tired, and not really paying full attention, yet he was apologising for his English- which was honestly very good!). We were put in a larger room than expected, with a lovely view of the river. Clean, had all the facilities we needed. Good coffee machine downstairs. Great location near local bars and restaurants, yet still quiet. Not too far a walk from the main station.

Nice room and the best thing was some excellent local recommendations if you scan the QR codes in the reception area. If you have time try the 'Beer pouring man' and the Okonomiyaki man - you'll understand if you go! Only negative is it's a little further from Tram than I would have liked, but made up for by the good value prices.

The staff told us about a festival happening nearby and gave us a map with directions. It was a really nice festival. The room was well proportioned. The mattress was firm but not too hard. Out of 6 cities, it was the only hotel with stairs and a lift. Was nice to walk down for a change :) The wall of places to visit at the side of the lobby was nice.

The room was spacious and quite modern compared to other Japanese hotels at this price point. Location was okay -- we ended up just walking to/from places like Hiroshima Station, Hiroshima Castle, and the Peace Park because the weather was nice, and the street cars took about the same time as walking did. The staff had enough English knowledge to help us check-in using English; we never expect such language proficiency in a foreign country, so it is certainly an added bonus worth noting. Would recommend this hotel.

Good sized room with plenty of space. Fridge and kettle in the room. Plenty of toiletries. Very friendly and helpful welcome from reception, who kindly let us leave our bags when we arrived earlier than the check in time. Great location, felt really safe, only 13 minutes walk from the station, and roughly 10 minutes walk to sights of interest. Seven Eleven, and a Lawson less than five minutes away. Lots of Hiroshima Okonomiyaki in walking distance too! Trams and bus stops less than five minutes walk away.

The hotel is only a 10 minute walk from the train station, and is situated at the edge of a lively entertainment area with (karaoke) bars and late night eateries, and lots of drunk people. But you won't notice any of that because in the hotel it's delightfully quiet, situated right on the banks of a wide and gentle river. My room on the 7th floor had a fantastic view of the river, and it was a joy to wake up each morning to that view.

The experience was definitely positive! A little far from the main station, but nothing impossible to do, also because Hiroshima is a beautiful city and walking around was a pleasure. We probably could have taken a bus, but we always preferred to get around on foot. The staff is also very friendly and helpful, one day my husband even had a problem with the camera tripod and needed an Allen key and the staff had one! Excellent cleanliness and services!

We had a wonderful stay at EN Hotel. The staff were very friendly, amenities were plentiful, and afternoon coffee / tea was free. We visited during cherry blossom season and our room overlooked the river, which provided us a lovely view of the blossoming trees. The location is located midway between Hiroshima Station and Peace Memorial Park -- about 15 minutes walking from either site. If you intend to explore Hiroshima and take day-trips by train, it's an ideal location for both options. Coin-operated laundry is available on one of the upper floor. The lounge on the first floor is neatly decorated - QR codes on the walls provide many recommendations for places to see and visit.

Hotel was comfortable and staff was attentive during check in and out. The hotel was on the river and provided access to the river walk. The view from the hotel window was of the river and city. The city center and some of the major attractions were easily accessed on foot. Although we did not use it laundry facilities, they were available in the hotel. Breakfast was available and looked good but we did not try it.
